11-17-09 Review of book titled," DEFENDING A HIGHER LAW", by TFP Committee on American Issues.  I must say I have read more books about homosexuality through pbs than I have read any other subject and I can tell you that I firmly beleive that with G*ds help our nation will make a difference in telling the truth about the homosexual movements heinous activities and its severely mentally unhealthy program of recruitment and desensitization of Americas children and help to protect this generaton of young adults and the next genaeration from the homosexual movements often devious, sometimes even criminal methods not to mention really senseless toiling to change the future of our country toward a more secualar and more atheistic mindset so that they can somehow have self acceptance. When we all know that self-acceptance comes from within you and you cannot force anyone to like you, to approve of you regardless of what you might do to them because not even that is going to make you feel good or better about your choices in life.Eventually you will give up and realize that if you dont accept your own lifestyle that maybe that is telling you something about that lifestyle and the wise thing would be to listen to that small inner voice telling you what is right and what is wrong. What is most wrong about their forced tolerance can be found on every page of this book but I will summarize it below from pages 36-38 on how to push their lifestyles into society: 1. Demonize anyone who protests homosexuality so that no one will like them or want to be around them. 2. Use the " bracket technique" to demonize anti-homosexuals and make homosexuals look like the victims. 3. Make religion look stupid and ineffectual and outdated. 4. Make the homosexual looks as though they need protection from these individuals. 5. Present homosexuals as people who are born that way and cant help it. ( BIGGEST LIE EVERY TOLD BY THE HOMOSEXUAL MOVEMENT IS THAT YOU ARE BORN HOMOSEXUAL, THEY KNOW THE TRUTH!) 6. Use your best role models in tv commercials and shows so that they appear average and like the person next door. Dont put the exagerated version of  homosexuality on display. 7. Cover-up to prevent shocking public any deviant or unpleasant homosexual activity.( that ought to tell you everything folks!) 8. Weaken religious opposition. ( They can try but they never will because G*d has promised not even the gates of hell aka homosexuality will prevail against the church) 9. Talk about homosexuality all the time so that we will win by exhausting them. PS WRONG AGAIN 10.Educate the public. 11.Use Hollywood and stars to promote homosexuality. AKA Sean Penn 12.Use lesbian more than men as poster girls..more acceptable. 13.Use historic personages as homosexuals, even if its not true. I give this book a 7 out of 5. Good job! Trust in G*d and keep praying and keep reaching out to those perishing in this lifestyle and save as many as will be saved. Show love to all but dont lie to them about their lifestyle choice. Just read my story!!! 4/30/2009 Review of book, Legislating Immorality by Grant and Horn I recommend this book to all parents in America as we face a moral dilema in our country. I have purchased this book again, its just too good to not re-read and share with others. Valuable information in this book. A must read! I guarantee after reading this book you will be enraged but my advice is to stay calm and join together with others to stop this virus known by the name homosexuality from infecting our country, non-violently, but none the less boldly. God help us to save our children. I dont hate homosexuals I hate what homosexuality does to them! NOT IN BOOK) If you check out the current CDC of those who have died of aids you will note, something GLSEN, PFLAG,GLAAD, GLO,wont tell, that from 2004 to 2007 their is a remarkable and shocking increase in aids deaths in the 13-17 yo age groups. Our kids are being lied to in droves and recruited into a sexual carnival of which they may never return. They need us more now that ever to stand up and protect them. And we are indeed in numbers to big to ignore..from Helen Reedy song. As important and necessary as this book is I find it, above all books on this subject, the most heart wrenching and yet Holy Spirit directed book ever written to expose the lies we have been forced to believe regarding the homosexual movement. What I like most about this book are his credible sources and the quotes from their own advocates work to undermine their own movement in such a way as to become the very instrument by which we can destroy the throat hold homosexuality has over our present country. Everyone has choice, everyone deserves a right to live unpersecuted, they dont hold to the same rules however that they place upon society. People can be obliging. What is the obstacle?"...We were once informed by a cheery gay acquanintace, that, trapped in the crush of a recent rock concert audience, right behind a thirteen year old boy, he had taken advantage of the horrified youths inablity to move away.end quote.  Karen Greenlee, lesbian quotes about her success over societies repressed sexuality says, For awhile I found myself thinking, Yeah this isnt normal. Why cant I be like other people?...The reason I was having problems with it was because I couldnt accept myself..To accept it was to accept peace. She was referring to sex with a dead body!    This book is one of the rare book I have purchased more than once and share it often as I can so others will understand what I went through and what kind of darkness we are dealing with here. I give this book a 5. Book review 7-11-09 Wow what a change we are making, Obamas one step backwack ours two steps forward. My review of book, 100 PEOPLE WHO ARE SCREWING UP AMERICA, by Bernard Goldberg. Good book. This book takes a sarcastic and highly comical look at Americans who are making themselves look bad. The writer reminded me of Bill O'Reilley and his patriots and pinheads proclamations but I like this book better because you like the writer better. You get the feeling this man backs up what he says and would be more willing to jump into the fire to help someone than someone who would either write a book about the fire or the failings of the fireman and I like that in a man and especially in a writer. I agree MJ had a deserving spot on this list and I find myself happy that Goldberg did not write but one line about MJ and it was right on given the light of recent events. I recommend this book to others. I give it a 4 only because I dont care much for pinhead proclamations to me its better to award positive behaviour in people inorder to reinforce it than to point out mistakes, thats the women of this worlds job not men, and hey all people screw up at sometime in their lives! I would recommend readers also read other books to back all this information such as; UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN, STOLEN INNOCENSE, MORMON MURDERS, AND GOD MAKERS 2 for a total picture of what kind of satanic delusion this false-religion really is all about. I do not support what the homosexual community is doing to hurt their church but I do support that they change their total and complete foundation and throw out the book of Mormons, throw out the idea of becoming a gd or gdess and have only one PROPHET...JESUS CHRIST...all others are false and they know it! Review of Newt Gingrichs book titled, WINNING THE FUTURE by GL Good book! I give it a 4.5. The introduction to the book is the best part of this book. He gives thought provoking ideas on how to turn America back toward a conservative and noble vision. He epitomized what conservativism really is about. He uses a contract that has been successful in the past and I think it could be used to help the leaders of this country to set concrete goals. I wish hed run for the Presidency. I can imagine a ticket with his name and Huckabee's and theyd have my vote thats for sure. I knew Newt Gingrich was a Christian man but this book gives me hope that there are men of integrity still in Americas legislatiion and this breed did not die out after the Civil War afterall. GL My book review of Davids story, AS NATURE MADE HIM, by John Colapinto : The medical arrogance is at its peak in this true story. A doctor bauches a circumcision, followed by a psychologist who tries to make David into a girl emotionally, psycologically, and physically with disasterous results. I could not put this book down. Usually I mark important information or particular lines that moved me, except for pages 79-90 when I was completly shocked that this kind of treatment of children could even happen let alone be sanctioned by John Hopkins University. The whole book moved me and all I can say is read it for yourself. After you read my story consider the fact that even worse things happen every day on school campuses in this country. I wish I had met David and shared my story with him and encouraged him to keep going and keep speaking out its the only way to stop them. I have found that right after you tell your story you fall apart emotionally, psychologically, physcially and the only way to get your momentum and structure back is to keep telling your story, that has been my personal experience anyway. The first time I told my story I felt such shame and guilt as though I had somehow caused my attackers to come up with their cruel concoction against me. What they did destroyed my life in everyway, and left with a broken spirit, a defiled heart and mind I walked away from all I held sacred and good in my life.I can see that the ten years I was away from my family was something I have to take some responsiblity for however I tried to come back to where I was before, I could not do it. Spiritual darkness cannot save itself only God in heaven can help with the darkness of sin....I am now glad I went through what I did because God did call me back to Him in 1998 and because of what happened to me the momentum the homosexual activists once had is slowly pouring through the fingers of their grip on students in public schools. I can only say....THANK GOD IN HEAVEN! Due to what they did to me I was a walking dead person spiritually, and although my body is giving out on me now my spirit soars! It just soars. I see now that , although I cannot make bad people like the teachers who attacked me do good, I can thank God for all the good he has done to me in my life including the life he gave to me before my attackers hurt me so badly and the wonderful life He has given me again. I am appreciative for Gods gifts of my family, then and now, and God is moving in my life again and I see great things on the horizon for Gods people. I cant say I am glad the teachers hurt me and others as well, but I can say it is well with my soul and that is a gift from God in heaven, they could not, and did not give me salvation or hope that comes from God, for any of us. I wish I could have told David these things and maybe he would not have felt so ashamed,after all, it wasnt his fault anymore than it was my fault in what happened to me and my family. God is our justice David and Justice has come! And that justice being David that our stories are being read and heard and being reviewed for ethics and more and more of us who have suffered under the intentions of professionals, who in my opinion have to look up to even see the shadow of some common street thugs, are triumphing in mass numbers to numerous to discount. All because of the bravery of men like David who tell their stories inorder to prevent this perversion upon others. I felt for David and his entire family what a horrific ordeal. I could not put this book down, I cried, I got angry, and I am more resovled to keep speaking out about what happened to me at Yuba College. How come Dr. Money did not go to prison for what he did to children but got away with it and even flaunted it for years? Do police just sit around eating donuts all day or do they ever do investigavtive work? I wish David could see that his opening up and telling what happened by Dr. Money that he has protected other kids from this madness and exposed this man for his twisted methods. Thank you David, I am praying for you and I hope to see you in heaven. Just to think that if Dr. Diamond and others had not persued what happened to David none of us would have found out about it. Information is truely power and there is a change a happening, not just in the medical field, but in our country that says we will no longer stand by and be silent about atrosities that allow our children to be hyjacked by activists in public schools or in our supreme courts and yes even in doctors offices across this country. I would like to see psychologists and psychiatrists involved in this kind of child abuse to be given to Dr. Kavorkian for research, taken to the brink of death and then revived to have it done over and over again. For research, you know. Ok, thats a bit harsh maybe just stipped of all their licences to practice their evil trades.     AMERICA TO PRAY? OR NOT TO PRAY? by David Barton    This book has become my most favorite book I have ever read. It is just the kind of book Ive been looking for all my life. I will give you an overview of the back page and it says it all. Quote: On June 25, 1962 , The Supreme Court first struck down school prayer by prohibiting students from using this simple invocation:" ALMIGHTY GOD, WE ACKNOWLEDGE OUR DEPENDENCE UPON THEE, AND BEG THY BLESSING UPON US, OUR PARENTS, OUR TEACHER, AND OUR COUNTRY." Following this case, the Court began methodically expelling other religious principles; the effect have been evident. Teen pregnancies skyrocketed, Divorce has become all to common place, SAT scores have fallen drastically, Violent crime is sweeping like the black plague epidemic through our society. Indeed this book proves that since the Supreme Courts decision our country is worse off and the statistic are in this book from reliable and documentable sources to back it up. Maybe America we should throw off these activist judges and put back prayer in the school systems. I guarantee your jaws will drop no matter your faith or no faith at all after reading this most excellent book. I give it a 10.     Book review of, "The Marketing of Evil' by David Kuplian Awesome book. I get somewhat frustrated with writers, as they do me Im sure, because in my heart I want to say, WORDS , WORDS , WORDS, give me some action.  Then I realize it starts with Words then goes to Works. First faith then works. Knowing that without works faith is dead. May God not allow one of these words in this book to be dead words but living words of faith to do good works from and by to help others. Loved your book. God bless you. Your book should start out the way it ended calling all of into our private rooms to search our hearts and souls and call out to God for His forgiveness and help. AMEN to that.  I have so many pages marked its packed with good stuff, here it goes. Page 22 paragraphs 1 through 7. That is the bottom line that the principles of psychology and advertising are now exposed for what they are, a lie. Their campaign against Christianity is over in that their gulable geinney pigs are now teaching them that they are and were wrong regarding homosexuality. The three stage strategy of Desenstize, Jam and Convert is a common thing used in Colleges/Universities to cram homosexual indocrintation into the minds of students! This book has shown us how corrupt and black hearted the American psychological Association has become.  In a way David, under hypnosis they said horrible things to me and its criminal and one day they will be exposed and I will breath a sigh of relief!   Page 27 para 5 Now is the time for all good men to not only stand on faith but put that faith into works!  Page 29 para 1 through 5.  Truth is they are wrong and this is the only way to attack truth, by attacking the truth tellers, because you cannot change TRUTH no matter how hard you try. Lie does not trump truth, nothing does.  Page 33 para. 7. We can reverse this recruitment of our children into homosexuality ! And we will!  34 para 4 If  you read my book on page 39 quote, "I believe that children raised in same-sex families will demonstrate significant psychological damage and a severe condition known as gender confusion!" Is it no wonder they want into our schools? Page 35 para 2 . Good job. Look out  old fashioned values and traditons are coming back! And with a vengence that only God Himself could have orchestrated!  Page 37pars 1 & 2 Started with Quote, " Glorifying dysfunctionality and corruption we have relieved homosexuls of the inner confilict they once felt over their condition-something they desperately need, indeed all of us need, if were ever going to overcome our problems and find wholeness" End quote.Now that is a sentence worth copying and sending to all MDS in psycology offices across this country!  Page 56 para. 4.  Wow! There you have it, indeed. All churches need to read this, all pastors too.  Page 58 par 3. Brutal honesty works for most honest people and it does bring to light sin, allowing for repentence, the best thing brutal honesty does is enlighten and empower everyone, the opposite is also true, lies bring us all down! DEFYING THE SUPREME COURT IS NOT WRONG IF WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS AGAINST NATURAL LAW OR GODS LAW! Amen to that!  Page 87 para. 1 through 5. Great answer.  Page 96 para 1 & 2 and 3. Excellent. Eyepopping stuff. Near perfect illustration. Page 99. Bravo.  Page 107 para. 2  Quote from this great paragraph. Quote, "Fatherlessness, more than any factor, contributes to personal and social pathology."End Quote. This is why I believe that they target single, poor, children and families and seek to destroy families. AND THEY WANT TO TEACH THIS IN OUR SCHOOLS? HELLO, WE CANT SIT BACK SILENTLY AND ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN.  Page 131 Accurate information. Page 133 HOW WAS IT THAT KINSEY WAS ALLOWED TO DO THESE EXPERIMENTS ON CHILDREN? I ASSURE YOU HE WAS NOT ONLY A REPROBATE MIND BUT A SERIAL PEDOPHILE RAPIST AND A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR. WHERE ARE RESPECTABLE POLICE DURING THIS TIME? Page 135 No person condoning Kinsey research or supporting his point of view will ever step foot in heaven. YAAAAAHOOOOOO. Pages 140 & 141 No wonder they use hypnosis because they can hide behind it like little girls!  Page 143 Sexual perversion is ALWAYS present in Satan worship.   The whole chapter 7 on the sabotaging of our schools is a must read.  page 173 3 & 4 are for the so called educated minds. Wake up! Page 175 Fact vs Media distortion.Good call on this one too.  Page 176 para 3  last line. God is our only hope. Page 178 para 4 last line, Page 179 GOD BLESS ISREAL. I witnessed first hand the promotion of Islam in the Presbyterrian church and the fact that they have pulled out support for Isreal is further proof this church is following the steps of Satans church and the Episcopalians. Page 180 FINALLY THE TRUTH. Page 182 para 2 & 4 & 5 Excellent choice.  Pages 184 & 185 esp last paragraph on page 185 and para. 2 esp. on page 184 Page 191 My family read the whole chapter 9 and we plan on getting the two videos . I recommend it in conjunction with Rachels Tears by Beth Nimmo and Darrell Scott. I give these two books a 10. These are stories that our governement would like to cover up because they dont want you to know just how anti-Christian this governement has become. Columbine as the book says in Rachels Tears is a Spiritual Event and 13 crosses attest to that.  I just finished reading two great books that I recommend to anyone of you: JESUS FREAKS by dc talk and voice of the martyers....too amazing to tell you all about it. Martyers all around us folks! Wake up and get involved..some of you are involved and God is so moving. One story jumped out...well many but this one grabbed me and shook me up. A young 17 yo girl was confronted by terrorists and they said to her, DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD? She answered yes and then they said it again and she again confirmed her faith...they shot her in the head. This story is no different than so many others in this book , all true, all heroic, but this one jumped out at me because I thought it was someone in another country not in America. I thought it was in historical years past not in 1999. I had just gotten the book titled, "RACHELS TEARS" and had not started it yet when I read this story in JESUS FREAKS and low and behold its the same girl. She is from Columbine High School and Rachel Scott is her name. I would like to send Lavonne and Curt JESUS FREAKS if they dont already have it and I am sending Rachels Tears to my daughter in law, not that shell read it but maybe.  Here is a poem from the book, Rachels Tears written by her Dad while speaking on the need for possible more gun control. I gave it a 3 but I would have given it a 3.5 had Dobson not been so critical and negative and hopeless sounding recently. His book is very interesting, sometimes you can pick up his anger at God between the lines even as far back as the early ninties when he wrote this book. It appears he was seriously doubting the actions of God even then in subtle ways through the way he writes and with recent events being what they are for him and his statements I guess he finally broke down. I told him to get back up and keep going. We all get discouraged and we all question God the hope in all of it is getting back on the horse of faith and keep riding because we know where the barn is and so does the horse. Now is the time for all Gods men to be bold, daring, and courageous and not wimps or sissys. I say to Dobson and other Christian men to stop talking and start physically doing something constructive to help the culture war we are currently in. I feel the day of the Gentiles trampling over Gods temple ( us the church) is just about over and it will be if we stop it. I liked this book but really Dr. Dobson is the one not making any sense right now, God makes perfect sense to me! Here are a few pages I really liked: Page 9 par. 2 and 3, Page 11 last par., Page 35 par 2 & 3, Page 39 & 40, Page 49 par. 2 & 3 Page 50 Kierkegarrd quote about faith being holdin onto uncertainties with passionate conviction was superb, p 104, p 105 par 2 & 3, p 113, p 145 & 146, p 188-190, p 221 par 1, p 246 Finally. What I didnt like about book page 232 shame on you Dr. Dobson! and Id change the title to chapter 3 to WHEN IT LOOKS LIKE NOTHING IS HAPPENING SOMETHING IS HAPPENING. I hope others choose this book. Good read, could be better given the fact he said some disappointing discouraging words recently. Buck up Dobson! Good reminder for us not to look at men but at God only otherwise we will be disappointed.   I have found a pearl in this book titled, THE SCENT OF THE ANOINTING by Andy Smith and here is my review of this book dated 7-2-09 I got this book by a charming writer by the name of Andy Smith titled, THE SCENT OF ANOINTING to trade in the paperbackswap book club so I could get more home school books and today I ran out of reading material and went to my bookshelf and found this one and could not put it down. A book for every mans book shelf. I think this book is one of the most easy to read and understand books on what fathers and husbands can do to protect their families in our current society that I have ever read. I rank it up there with the books such as;You Have What It Takes: What Every Father Needs to Hear by another darling writer John Eldredge This book calls men toward the anointing of God that is outlined in the book of Exodus and the writer is very accurate and with a soft by firm hand sharpens them, gently and persuasively,to be the men God has called them to be and to appropriate the anointing so they can protect themselves and their families. When I finished this book I looked up to heaven and said God I want one of these kind of men in my life, I want one, where are they, I want one! The writer uses the book of Exodus and the command to anoint to illustrate a marvelous point that if men are to protect their families they need to start by protecting themselves. I recommend this book to every Christian man who desires to protect their families and this book shows them how to do just that and very well I might add. Good job on this book. I give it a 5.   Yeshua;the name of Jesus revealed in the Old Testement by Yacov Rambsel "I give this book a 4.7, seven for perfection! While reading this book of laws of probability and statitians odds I feel in love with Jesus all over again. This book uses an age old method of germatria or numerology to decode the Old Testement. If you love this kind of research you will really enjoy this book. If you are interested learning more and experiencing some of Gds mysteries hidden in the Bible you will love this book. It unravels some hidden mysteries within the Hebrew texts of the Bible and spells out in more than certain terms that Jesus is the long awaited Messiah. This book will bless you as you read it because of all the truth you will be absorbing. I know others will want to read this book too but I just cant put it back into the system. I liked it so much Im giving it to someone else who wants to read it after me. Dont give up too soon of the numerology portions because there is soo much information and soo much to learn that its like water in a desert you cant really get enough even if you try. I hope others look for this book at pbs and if they do they wont be sorry. Good job on this book! Thank you for taking the time to do this painstaking research what a joy this book was to me."

10-16-09 Book reviews of two books, ACLU VS AMERICA and THE GOD MAKERS 2.  I give this book a solid gold 4. If there was even a shadow of a doubt in my heart that the ACLU was for America and her values this book dispelled that myth perfectly! I have a long time not support ACLU and that started when I realized they defended the men who raped and murdered Jeffrey Curley ( a horrific and sad story you can google and read about). I shall read this book again.This organization in my opinion is the fungus on the feet of humanity and this book reveals even more heinous methodolgies and schemes than I had even realized. This book is also very valuable as a resale book. I guess I should thank the ACLU for my dinner last night since this book when I sold it paid for my favorite dinner and dessert. I guess in a way I had dinner on the ACLU last night...cool.  I sure enjoyed my dinner last night! It explains the mentality behind the current Presidents motives toward making our country a socialistic communist America. I for one hope we Americans prevent that from happening. I recommend this great book to anyone with a real desire to know the truth and guts to do something about it. I was reading another book simulataneously, titled THE GOD MAKERS 2,which I give a 4.5 and between these two books and these two organizations, one destroying America from the inside, Mormonism, and the other destroying America from the outside, being they are not one of us, they are COMMUNISTIC and sadistic, its no wonder America is in the mess its in. The only thing Id change about this book is that I would put page 101 titled The Plumb Line of Mormon History and the section titled "Testing the Book of Mormons" in the front sections. I think you should come out punching using your best shots and these are the best shots at proving your point. Good book. I recommend seeing the videos that go along with these books. Gd bless you for helping to save children, woman and marriages and protect true Christianity.  I purpose that if these two dark underworld marry it would give birth to a baby PREDATOR with the name NAMBLA etched on its forehead. The begining of the review of the book, " LOOK WHAT HAPPENED WHILE YOU WHERE SLEEPING" By a Friend of MEDJUGORJE. Here are a few pages that I thought jumped out while I was reading this sincere book by an educated author.  These pages held meaning for me as a Christian woman who was targetted for her faith in God and later after mentioning that I might write about this murder targetted again.  I loved the section on the Nine Declarations of Restoration on pages 166-167. I would like to have seen more declarations made but this is a great start.I loved the line, quote on page 166,".....by returning to the Christian principles which will secure our childrens future and our nation's continuance." end quote. I could not agree with you more if I had written this book myself. Pg 184 The Declaration of Independence is the legal authority and human rationale for reclaiming our country. Bravo! Quote from page 184, " The Declaration of Independence , carefully studied, gives a legal basis for a revolution to restore America. end quote. Pg 185 Quote, " What  country can preserve its liberty if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Reminds me of my book, " The Choice" page 47, quote " I RESIST IN THE NAME OF THE LORD" Hallelujah! Pg 189 The quote on page 189 by Pope Benedict needs to be said again and again. I enthusiastically support the comments of Pope Benedict in admonishing adoption agencies to defy new laws of illicit marriages and adoptions and refuse to fill out any paperwork or grant adoptions of children to illicit and unnatural marriage unions. THERE ARE GOOD MEN AND WISE MEN TODAY!! If you read my book the chapter titled , "Wake up America" that chapter states the same thing. Pgs 191-193 I have circled so much on these pages and underlined them to the point that I just put down that all three pages are inspirational. This particluar quote by Thomas Jefferson struck me deeply;"When once a republic is corrupted, there is not possiblity of remedying any of the growing evils but removing the corrupton and restoring its lost principles;every other correction is either uselss or a new evil" end quote. Congratulatons for saying what needed to be said; now may our God in heaven do what needs to be done through us!!!  I agree that Global warming is a scam on the larger political level however, like so much of the lies that secular supposed learned people feed us, there is a sprinkle of truth in that we are custodians of this earth and all that is in it. Mankind as a whole is superior on every level to nature and is not to take advantage of that heighth but instead should be overly conscientious of natures needs. I dont want to seem hard nose but it is an easy out to say "God will fix it!" In the past, as now,there is a certain order to nature such as; God-Mankind-Animals-Earth. And as in nature there are levels within levels ie species and genus etc Man is to look after woman, woman is to look after children ,just as a man would cherish his wife and children as a heirachy of natures plan and each in need of the other and all in need of God! Natures plan deserves that respect but, so typical of male thinking to charge over the top of lesser beings on the premise of, because I can I will". Just doing minor changes such as alternative fuel source to gasoline, recycling when possible. We can make good changes in small ways.  I applaud your book in regards to leading others to live a more Christian lifestyle of honoring God, but dont leave out the personal one-on-one relationship that God desires with each of us individually. You inspired me to serve God a little better and to follow the ten commandments a little closer. We are human and will fall but thanks to Gods Holy Spirit we get back up and keep going. I applaud your book in that it exposes lies,lies in our schools,lies in our state and federal level government, lies in our own White House and it is good to say and warn all of us that we will lose all of what we have worked to be as Americans if changes do not occur to restore some level of Godliness to our country. Not a Godliness that is fake, and therefore powerless but comes from God in heaven Himself. You are right that if we do not do something that America, as we have always known it, will cease to be. Pages of much significance, that I feel I must mention in the book, " Look what happened while you where sleeping" are: Pages in reference to the GOVERNORS SCHOOLS are necessary for American families to read about because these schools are a very demonic thing. I think it is possible that this is another place they do hypnosis on students  because ot the topics covered but also because of how it adversely affects the students who attend.   The UN's  "Agenda 21" plans are also not something we should support. If you read page 323 regarding Michael Shaws " Freedom 21 Santa  Cruz" about Global land use, Global education, Global population control and reduction then it will become clear that these are not just men we are fighting but principalities and powers of darkness!   Pages 328 & 329 are very eye popping as to the sublte changes that are occurring among our youth. This is also even more frightening to me that the above. We can reverse this brain washing of our youth but we must first learn about what is happening and then remove our children. I think a NATIONAL REMOVE YOUR KIDS FROM PUBLIC SCHOOL DAY SHOULD BE DONE , this is the only way! Pages 330 & 331 Are must reads, and re-reads too.  Page 361  I confirm Our Lady, quote " Pray because you are in great temptation and danger....satan is in this plan" Other very important pages for me include;406-409, 420-421,431-433,436-442, and lastly 458-463 Sincerely ending this book review with this quote from the last cover page, quote, " IT IS THEIR RIGHT, IT IS THEIR DUTY TO THROW OFF SUCH GOVERNMENT AND PROVIDE NEW GUARDS FOR THEIR FUTURE SECURITY" FROM OUR DECLARATION OF INDEPENCENCE! PRAISE THE LORD!     Book review of book, " LIFES GREATES LESSONS", by Hal Urban on 1-17-09   I give this book 4.5 stars. This is what I liked about his book and what I would change about this book. In the Introduction page XV Quote, "....that good character is the bedrock of a good society". End Quote. Excellent!  Continueing page X1X Quote in par 2 by Saint  Ignatius Loyola said, " that we only learn when were ready to learn.' End quote. I so agree.  On page XX of Introduction in para. 3 mid para in discussing the public school system quote, "But theres something missing in the curriculum. We dont teach our students about life itself, about how it works or about whats essential. Never has there been a greater need for that." End quote. I so agree and will take it a step further the school system  wont change unless we force it to change. Further on this page the entire para 5 is worthy of noting! The author who is also a school teacher said that his pleas for change only feel on deaf ears. My experience also and this will be the systems downfall their unwillingness to listen. Like the first chapter on sucess being more than making money. I however disagree that it is societies responsiblitiy to develop other peoples talents-it is however the societies responsiblity I believe to encourage greater potentialities among all its people, as the author stated so well in this chapter. I would remove the quote by Robert Lewis Stevenson because it is a lie-becoming is not the end of life. Chapter 2 Awesome! Life isnt fair is it! We all deserve better. Page 14 I would not have included this cliche'. But hey whatever its your book. Loved the quotes by Winston Churchill and Ann Landers though. Life is not only fun and funny I personally find so much irony and increadible coincidence to be almost comidically mysterious. I too loved Patch Adams oh that more and more doctors where like him! I would like to recommend the movie, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL' because of its ability to interject humor into the most painful of situations and in doing so lighten everyones load.  Chapter 4 Bravo! I would say the first para was absolutely wonderful. Page 31 jumped out at me on para 3 starting with, quote, " The only difference...." and page 40 with the stats that 85% is due to attitude and 15% is abiltity. I was amazed at that percentage. Other pages of great insight  included" Page 46, 53, 70, 71, 76 Theres no such thing as being a little dishonest, 78 the last half of para 2, page 131, 135, 136 Quote, " Self esteem is not something another person can give us. And that self-esteem= self-respect,  I loved this quote from page 136 para 2, " WE CAN ONLY FEEL GOOD ABOUT OURSELVES WHEN OUR BEHAVIOUR IS POSITIVE AND WE CAN BE FULLY ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT". End quote. Thank you for writing this I needed to hear it so much! Loved this quote too from Eleanor Roosevelt, quote, " No one can make  you fell inferior without your consent". AMEN ! AND AMEN! And further along I quote from the book, " Its what we believe about ourselves that counts". Wow so true.  But the best line for me is this one, Quote, " Wheter we were treated rightly or wrongly as a child, our self-esteem is now our responsibitlity" End quote.  Liked this too:  Be kind, Be honorable, Be productive, Be positive. Oh that we all understood this and were told this often, esp. in school!  I recommend this book to anyone. God bless Hal Urban but my advice to him is to start working in the Christian school sector and they will listen to him!     Review of book, THE MYTH OF SAFE SEX, by John Ankerberg and John Weldon Excellent book for all parents but highly recommended for Christian parents. This book was very beneficial to me as I am studying the effects of Planned Parenthoods involvement in sex-education in the public school system. This book is chucked full of statistics that will shock even the learned reader on Aids and the devastation that has occured because of the sexual revolution mainly in our school systems. The numbers of youth that are infected today will break your heart and if that statistic alone does not cause you to get involved by either monitoring what your childs school is teaching in Health and Sex Education or by doing the best thing, in my opinion,and remove your child from the secular authorities that are ruining the minds, hearts, and spirits of America's children. I give this book a 5 for its efforts to tell the whole story and to try and prevent further deaths from this sexual holocaust killing innocent children who have been taught that sex is safe and this book will show that it is anything but safe.   Jersulam Countdown by John Hagee ( revised version) review completed 4-10-09 by GL    Scarey book. I found it rather ironic that we are seeing our country now agree with much of what Hagee reports in his book regarding Iran and their nuclear threat. I was very discombooberated with Islams hatred of Christianity and their level of committment in destroying America and Isreal. I have some bad news for them, Hitler tried it too, and others throughout history, although they cause much pain and suffering they have never been able to destroy either one, Christianity nor Judaism, one wonders how long it will take, men like Akmadinajad, when will the world understand that by fighting Jews and Christians them they are in fact fighting against God in heaven. Very scarey book. I recommend this book to all PBS readers. I shall share it with my church friends when Im done with it. I give it a 5. I did enjoy the latter half of the book because of its eye popping use of scripture from the Holy Bible predicting the very events we are seeing today. I did not think it was necessary to write in such detail about nuclear armament procurement and that would be the only thing I would change about this book. Some highlights from book. Page 34 para 6 quote, " However, Islam teaches that God commands Islamo-fascists to kill anyone who does not believe Allah is the only God. Islamo-fascists consider it an honor to die fighting Christians and Jews-the death of a martyr is their only sure way to get to heaven....Islamo-fascism is far more dangerous than Nazism".end quote. It might be more dangerous but it will receive the same fate. Page 35 para 2 quote, The FBI terrorist division has stated there are seven US cities targetted by Islamic terrorists for nuclear suitcase bombs. These seven cities are New York, Miami, Houston,Las Vegas,Los Angeles, Chicago,and Washington DC." end quote If you notice these cities are also known for their liberal embrace of sexual perversions of every kind..I thought that an interesting point. Page 37 para 2 quote, "In addition,its evil leaders(speaking of Iran)have publically declared that they will use violence-any kind and any degree possible-to reach Islams highest goal: a successful holy war( jihad) against the United States, the big Satan, and Israel the small Satan. end quote I hope those who read this book are struck by the events unfolding today and know that our support and alliance with Isreal is our only salvation in the days ahead.  I hope that others who read this book will realized to the very heart and soul that our alliance and support of Israel is our only hope in the days ahead.

Some critique of the book, " Culture Warrior" by Bill O'Reilly:  The Bible is clear that practicing homosexuality is a sin ( that does not mean that God is not calling them to come back to him or that this sin is worse than anyother sin in life,it is just fact), why then would you not be concerned with placing children in a sinful environment? Adults living that life is one thing, that is their choice, but to put children in that environment is a far greater travisty to them and our country. My opinion is based on Biblical research and personal experience , college hypnosis and horrific images and perverse suggestions made to me ( in regards to sexual immorality) and ,witnessing the murder of a seventeen yo boy at the hands of a practicing homosexual, and the discrimination I faced when I spoke out regarding this topic and of reading the papers, reading information on homosexuality on web sites and hearing other peoples personal stories of experiences with the homosexual community and or personal lifestyle. I say we are doing a severe psycological harm to these children in the long run, maybe not to start but in the long run it should be avoided at all costs. It is my uneducated but from a nursing medical standpoint I am not totally ignorant on this subject, and sincerest, opinion that children raised in same-sex families will have a large number who suffer a severe condition known as gender confusion.We are already seeing this in areas that are extremely liberal. It's like the same image distoration that anorexic's have ( You are not born with homosexuality and you are not born with anorexia,it is a learned response to environmental stimuli or peer pressure) because no matter what reality is they seem to have a totally distorted version of their body image. Hello, this is what will happen to some children raised in this environment and some are likely, without help, to commit suicide due to severe confusion regarding their sexuality. Still feel that way Bill? I am glad you spoke about " restorative justice" thats the rich mans dual of arms in my opinion , the elites bullism from the upper class (say it with a Thirston accent). It is fact and it is wrong. Cashman is a dangerous man, that too is fact. It reminded me of a former minister here that I once had a lively debate regarding homosexuality with several years ago. He basically said to" love your neighbor", I told him that the Bible did not mean "physically loving them", but spiritually, big difference in how we relate to them and reach out to them! Yes I can love them and care about them and still speak out about the sin of homosexuality inorder to prevent others from suffering. Mr. Murphy was an Episcopalian minister but I read in the papers he started a group for " social justice" sounds alot like" restorative justice" doesnt it? He also has ties with University of Wyoming, just fyi! Significant only if you know that these groups are liberal and use underground mehtods to perform their social justice. Overall the book was good. His poignant, honest reporting was helpful to me in my healing process because it answered some questions for me. Your book gave me a feeling of hope that with more of us speaking out we can help restore America to her former place of honor in history, God willing. I will not let the Jeffery C. and the unknown mexican boys stories go unheard. I hope to honor this Jeffery boy and the John Doe boy somehow, stopping predator teachers and this organization would do it, wouldnt it? Thanks for writing it. "Gods justice" on the state college level perverts" Ok the title is not set in stone yet but I hope to start it soon. I have to try something new since what I have been doing I have done to the hilt. After some time with the Lord I think a better title is in the making possibly ie " Gods Grace on a perverse and crippled America" a true story of what is happening on college campuses in America, to try and reach some for Christ. If for no other reason the book highlighted the tragic murder of the 10 yo boy Jeffery Curley, the son of Barbara Curley. , whom was brutally raped and murdered by two men and they gagged him with a rag dowsed in gasoline...can you just imagine what he went through for one minute...and that one of the predators claimed he had gotten this idea from NAMBLA...Hello predatorville for homosexual men and heterosexual men. And how the ACLU is protecting these sexual predators. It was very important that you wrote this book to expose these type of groups and hopefully this will make a difference in our country, even if it makes a difference to only one person, that would make your writing it worth it. Book review of, " Walking straight in a crooked world",by Don Aycock    Good book in the genre of inspirational memoirs of a young minister.  Packed with interesting short stories to emphasize his points. I dont feel my time was wasted on this book. Thought provoking and an all round good book. I give it a 2.75 out of a 5 points and a recommendation to anyone else, a good curl up with a cup of tea, windy day kind of book when you want something not heavy and not to giddy either, a middle of the road positive thinking book sprinkled with life stories by Don Aycock.   "Return with Honor" by Captain Scott O'Grady. I loved this book and recommend it to anyone. I love true stories and this one gets a 5 out of 5 for me. Has all the elements, suspense, danger, heroism, faith and a magnificent ending.  An Airforce pilot shot down over Bosnia by Serbs writes to tell his survivor story. Excellent book. Loved it. Pages that meant something to me included: Page 116 quote para 3 last line, quote" Never much of a believer in miracles, I filed the story away. end quote. He is referring to the story about the vision of Mary in Medjugorje. Page 116 Starting again on para 4, quote " But on the afternoon of my third day in Bosnia, I prayed to the Mother of Medjugorje. Before long I felt a definite presence. It grew more and more vivid, until I could see it, shimmering in my mind's eye. Its hard to put into words but I saw the vision through feeling it, and the feeling was very warm and good.The international chorus welled up again, praying for my safe return. I cant tell you how important that vision was to me It gave me the courage to go on." end quote.   Page 140 para 5 Quote, " I moved in with the Ewings, some longtime family friends. Their son Greg was living in Seattle, so I stayed in his bedroom. Once I woke up at two in the morning and knew I wasnt alone. There was a presence in the  room. An incrdibly powerful presence-an evil presence. It was a web of hatred and deceit and connivery. It was darker than the night; it was a moral black hole. I wasnt afraid. Somehow I knew that the presence wasnt out to harm me. It aimed for something more despicable-to entice me, to recruit me. End quote.   These references make this book more real to me and serve to warn all of us that life is a choice and each decision has consequences and will produce either good or evil in our lives. I hope you choose Jesus, as Scott O'Grady did. As I have. Because life is short and theres so much to do! This story is what Christianity is all about. To choose God to live out your life in reverent service to Him and then to face Him in heaven one day. Read this book it is filled with spine tingling adventure.God bless you.     Civil War Handbook by  William H. Price as reviewed by GL 3-20-09   If you are a history buff then you will love this book. It has actual photos of battle sites and dead bodies. It is historically accurate and shocking. It will open a window into the past and help the reader to understand the resolve of the men of our country to keep it a land of the free and the home of the brave. Brave men died that we could be free today. I for one will not let their sacrafices be forgotten or dimenished. Finding this book was like finding a letter in your Bible from your deceased loved one, a feel good moment. This book is only 56 pages and so unassuming in its cover that when I began to read it I wondered why I hadnt heard of it before. What a darling book about a mans advertures as a missionary pilot for Wycliffe Bible Translators and former Ex. Drirector of Wycliff'es Jungel Aviaiton and Radio Service (JAARS.  I would give this book to any pilot I know and recommend it as a gift to any pilot or missionary. Its short chapters are all very inspiring without being preachy. I give this book a 7 because its not to long, its not to heavy, its just right for a good cold day and a hot cup of coffee. Its a good day off work book to read. I read it in 1 hour and I have put it on my ten best short book list.   Born Again by Charles Colson-Watergate incident as reviewed by GL  ( excuse the spelling please)  I was very skeptical of this man, after all, hes a polititian and knows how to conive, manipulate, and cheat better than most men in this world so I do not trust him. As I read his book it was just another well educated crook who knows how to hurt and ruin lives as good as any common street thug and no better than any other politian out there. As I read his book I kept telling myself, hes guilty but cant accept that he was actually called on it. Then I read page 114-117 and said to myself, "maybe hes sincere, time will tell." As the story progressed you realize that just maybe hes found God afterall. And then you realize even if hes lying hes only short changing himself. Only God knows the whole truth but I believe that Colson had an experience with God too.   I like this book for its sincerity. I think he was sincerely sorry for the pain and anguish he brought into others lives while he served as Nixon's side kick. I think he did feel remorse for his life and realized that like CS Lewis's book, Mere Christianity, states so well,that pride is a spiritual cancer that invades our heats and lives and destroys us while destroying others around us too. The Holy Spirit used this book to draw me closer to God too. I think the Holy Spirit will use this book and Charles Colsons testimony to draw others to him also. I give this book a solid 4. I recommend it to any corporate businessman and esp. to all lawyers and polititians.   Review of Book, " A Grief Observed" by C.S. Lewis by GL I will admit that I dont care much for C.S. Lewis's writings. Even his book Mere Christianity, though ok, was not my cup of tea. His books would not be the book I would reach for on a cold wintery day or when I desire to stretch my mind and learn. I esp. dislike the Narnia writings, nonsense and a twisting of the truth, in  my opinion. Fairy tales and Jesus dont mix. But this one book of his I like a little more than his others. Some of it is a little bloneyish but the most of it is very interesting and heartfelt. You feel his lose, you feel his conflict over what emotions to feel, you feel his guilt when he does feel good and his sadness when his memories of his late wife pull him back down and then back up again. I liked his honest retelling of his interaction with his deceased spouse. I would recommend this book to anyone suffering grief over the loss of a loved one. I give this book a 3 for its humaness and its sincerity. I think he does nothing to harm the gospel but does open the mind of those who have questions regarding spiritual beings and the hereafter.

Now for the book review on the book, " The Homosexual agenda" by Sears and Osten  In reading the book, " The Homosexual agenda". Where to start? I have several pages of notes and will try and condense them. First of all Thank you Jesus! The WHAT is happening and the HOW it is happening and the WHERE it is happening I already knew first hand but this book answered the WHO is doing it from an objective source...PRAISE GOD!   I suspect that these are the same groups/people who attacked me at Yuba College and the same ones that targetted me and my family.The facts and the testimonials of others who have been attacked helped me feel like I was not alone. Truthfully I became one in spirit and truth with the survivors of your book!    Also, at every turn where evil seemingly prevails, God prevails even more, this is proven over and over again in scripture. Gods church will not be destroyed or stopped no matter what they do to us! Good points of book: pg 24 & 25 Companies I will no longer support! pg 52 My heart just ached because this is wrong. What the GLSEN/NEA and affliates are doing is so wrong and sick! pg 77 & 78 If we all attended one of GLSEN's meetings, opened it in prayer asking God to open our eyes to sexual sin and applied for an official position and see if they would discriminate against us based on the same reasons they sue for discrimination, what would happen? Something good, they would be forced to play by the rules....which I suspect they do not acknowledge even exist except for them! pg 62& 63 Our country needs to wake up, families need to wake up, Gods people need to wake up!!!! pg 67 If we all removed our children this year from public schools and the enrollment dropped drastically nation wide would they change and be more open to conservative Christian views and less open to the sexually promiscuous view points? And would this force them to remove pro-homosexual clubs such as GLSEN from public schools in order to protect our children from homosexual activists in our school system? YES, YES, YES!!!!! pg 71 third para, 2nd line:Quote: The public school system in America is no longer a safe place for any kids! End quote..I say.. In their efforts to be fair to one group they have run off all the others, sounds unfair and that too makes it unsafe if you ask me. pg 83-87 I have experinced first hand their idea of tolerance when they harassed me because I wrote letters to Sacramento Legislators and followed by the attack at college....God bless freedom of speech for only the selected, what does that sound like to you? The very reason I wrote letters to Sacramento legislators in the 1980's was regarding the safety of children from homosexual teachers. BOOK REVIEW FOR THE BOOK, " THE TRUTH ABOUT SAME-SEX MARRIAGE" By Edwin Lutzer It was written by Edwin Lutzer and its quite good and is broken down into six interesting categories. I have a summary of it below and recommend this book to other Christians. Page 15 para. 4 line 1 quote, The purpose of this book is to encourage and equip God's people to defend marriage , giving reasons why its definition should not be broadened include same-sex marriages.end quote Reasons I found in this book to not support same-sex marriage . Page 25 para 3. And page 60 quote, " We cannot wrest children from the God-given format of family relationships without serious consequences. Also page 62 quote by Mary Stewart van Leeuwen, a Christian feminist, says, She predicts unforeseen consequences from such a radical overhaul of mariage and family.end quote Page 27 the last paragraph and page 28 the first paragraph stating, quote ; ..who is to say that it is to be limited to two people? Why not a trio of three men or woman? Or why not one man with two wives or ten?, After all, we must extend " equal rights" to all individuals to live according to any arragement they wish. end quote And page 62 para. 2 quote by James Skillen of the Center for Public Justice predicts" Its going to be increasingly possible to produce children, buy, and sell children, because in addition to adoption , that is the only way homosexual couples can have children." end quote. Page 35 para. 5 stating quote ;We must point out that the Bible does not speak about homosexuality with a muffled voice.end quote If we are to be followers of Jesus then we must follow the Bible. The Bible is not unclear on the subject of sexual immorality, either homosexual or heterosexual. Page 37 paragraphs 2 & 3. Quote; I believe that we as evangelicals have failed these people, many of whom populate our churches. As a pastor I've listened to their stories of brokeness and heartache. I've heard stories of molestation, of the emptiness of sex without commitment, without love, without caring. No matter what we see on televesion, the gay community is hurting, compulsively acting out behavior to cover their pain. Now that is a better philosophy if you ask me, giving someone a choice that is REAL LOVE. They need the support of the wider Christian community, and the larger family of God." end quote. I agree. We all need the Truth and God, anything else will not save us and is a lie. Page 80 is very, very good too. Quote, " The homosexual movement , with its stringent insistence that all oppositoin be silenced, has been " imposing" its agenda on society with a vengence. end quote. Just look at what they did to me!!! Page 83 is frightening. Quote, " Many homosexual males distinguish between emotional fidelity and sexual exclusivity. end quote. Dangerous and sad. Page 93 para 2. Third, we must carfully nurtue and protect our young people. Studies have shown that a child who readches puberty can either become a homosexual or heterosexual depending on environmental factors. end quote. TRUTH IN BLACK AND WHITE AS TO WHY THE SCHOOLS ARE RECRUITING OUR CHILDREN. And finally the pages that I feel repremand the Church as a whole for not speaking out more and these pages make this book valuable to the Church as a whole. Pages 97, 99,103 All of chapter 6, esp page 107 titiled, WE MUST SEEK GOD.  Thank you brother Lutzer for book I have added it to the back of my book as a book to read.   Book titiled, SHE SAID YES, by Misty Barnell as reviewed by GL I give this book a 10 and Im stingy. I read it in just a few hours and it was one of those books you just cant put down once youve started reading. The Columbine tragedy has been dissected and evaluated over and over again and each time I read about it I am more convinced that there are dark powers working to destroy families and seem to focus on the youth of our society. Cassies story was the first story of two I have read about the Columbine murders that I can foresee the vast majority of youth relating to on muliple levels. Her home conflicts and her getting into the wrong crowd and finding that this crowd was recruiting her into their dark world and how they literally would not let her go and planned out such vicious attacks on her parents, her teachers, and basically get the picture they hate all authority figures and you question their parents ability to condon such behaviour. I think Cassies parents did the right thing in removing her from that location and that school, personally public schools are not the place for any children, because they are conducive to the bad elments in society and seem to be a place where dark powers of this world thrive and do not have the best interest of each student in mind. Her story of how well she did at a private Christian school just before transfering back to Columbine public school is just another reason for us to listen and not just hear but to take action and consider the seriousness and potential traumas to our children by placing them in public schools. How sad to think that if they had kept her in the private school this would not have happened. A lesson on many levels for all of us. Lessons on parenting, lessons on picking the right environment for our kids to learn in, lessons for teens considering getting into such lifestyles, and lastly lessons for the masses in regards to how much God does make positive differences in our lives, our families lives and our communities. God bless this family with peace that Cassie is in a better place and we all shout YES!   Roses in December as reviewed by GL 3-19-09   I just finished my book Roses in December and I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who has suffered the loss of someone they love. She writes with an honesty that is gripping and it is in no way so heavy that you cannot bear it. She leads you along in her sorrow without being too heavy handed with it. I found this book to have just the right balance in conveying hope and faith despite an ugly world where ugly things happen. She proves encouraging words using the metaphor of roses in our lives to draw us back to the center place where there is peace, rest, and God, once more. I give this a 4.2 and ask God to continue to allow others to be healed of their deepest pain and grief through the words of someone whos been to that dark place more than once.    7-4-09 Review of book by David Horowitz titled, THE POLITICS OF BAD FAITH. When I first got this book I read the first two chapters and enjoyed it very much but it didnt grip my heart and being an emotional reader I laid it down for a month and read something else. I just picked it up and again and due to underlining so much of it I cant and wouldnt think of putting it back in system because I want to keep it for all time. This book is so intelligent, elegant even, that I felt my IQ rise 5 points simply by reading it. First part is about Islam faith and I was shocked to read what they think and feel about America and Israel.But that didnt grab my heart. It was the letters written between David and Carol, one a tried and blue Communist, the other a converted Communist, turned conservative. Then my heart was gripped into this conversation. The chapters that followed were persuasive and astounding! The sections,quotes and statistics in chapter 5 the Radical Holocaust caused me to not put this book down until I finished it. I underlined so much of it I will never be able to put it back into the system so I will do the next best thing, which is, to let others know that this book is a must read. It will define what the true right and left is all about, it adresses the dangers of our society and of socialism and how it will bring, not a new way of life, but a diseased and flawed way of life like reanimated dead flesh with all its horrors and new ones to boot. Read it! You will feel smarter after you do and the greatest thing is you will be!! Good book David. I wrote one too but its not even in your class, its just my story of what they did to me after I spoke out about the murder of a boy by a homosexual man in California. Book review of the FLDS former member who escaped from human trafficking and sexual bondage and you can read her inspiring story in her book, " Stolen Innocence". I give this brave writer a 10 for her book, its accuracy, its brutal honesty, and her pain come through loud and clear.It is nothing short of a miracle from God Himself. Her story is shocking but we all have known deep down this is what happens when men are allowed to go unchecked in their arrogance. GOD BLESS YOU. God is using your story to set people free from the bonds of a satanic false religion known as Mormonism that is based upon a false prophets. While I do support the Mormon church on this issue of supporting traditional marriage and I do support the family wholesome values and environment that their church promotes there are also some disturbing aspects to the Mormon church I simply cannot condone that this book reveals quite well. The Mormon church falls to the far left of what I would say is main stream Christianity and although I defend them against attacks and appreciate their help with Prop. 8. lets not forget the following. LETS NOT FORGET: 1.JESUS IS NOT, NOR EVER WILL BE, THE BROTHER OF SATAN. Satan is a fallen angel, Jesus is Gods only son, Gods word made flesh....satan and Jesus are polar opposites and in no way related. 2. OUR CHILDREN ARE NOT SPIRIT BABIES. The children we conceive are the products of two individuals who have become one in spirit.....there are no spirit babies alive on another realm that come down to earth to be reborn, Jesus was the only true spirit baby, if you will . 3. JOSEPH SMITH WAS AND IS TODAY A FALSE PROPHET AND THE CHURCH HE BUILT WAS FOUNDED AS A FALSE RELIGION. If the Mormon church were to change its total foundation and follow Godly principles and be guided by Gods Holy Spirit only, removing all their prophets...because they are all false, then it would be a legitimate religion. 4. POLYGAMY IS A SIN. Whether it was Christ or after Christ to have multiple spouses is a sin against God. If you cannot be faithful to one spouse who is with you then it is virtually impossible that you can be faithful to one God whom you cannot see. 5. THE MORMON BIBLE IS IN ERROR. The only Bible that is recognized by mainstream Christianity is the Holy Bible and its versions only and no other is necessary and is even considered an evil to have your own version, an additional Bible of ie THE MORMON BIBLE WHICH IS FULL OF ERRORS THAT MISLEAD OTHERS FROM CHRIST. There are many , many other issues addressed in the movie "GOD MAKERS" ie blood atonement to name only one but by far the most disturbing one is that suggestion that they perform secret sexually charged rituals within the temples, if so this too is wrong. No, I am sorry I cannot and will not support the Mormon church on any ground other than their stand for tradtional marriage and stand in between them and satanic forces at work within the homosexual community that would harm them for making a right move. Period. No more, no less. If you are an active member of the Mormon church I would encourage you to confront your elders with these issues brought up in this book by a former FLDS member in " Stolen Innocence",and to stand up for what is right for your families, to try and make some changes to steer the church toward Godly precepts, if not I would seek a Church that is closer to the mainstream Christianity. PS God alone judges the heart..serve God only.  Book review Aug. 31, 2008 for the book, "DUMBING US DOWN" by John Taylor Gatto. Praise God a teacher with Hutzpah!In the section"about the author" I liked these commments: Quote. The trouble was that the unlikeliest kids kept demonstrating to me at random moments so many of the hallmarks of human excellence-insight, wisdom, justice, resourcefulness, courage, origninality-that I became confused. end quote. Trouble is John that is how God works, in the most unlikeliest of people! And a corrupt system with bad testing could not appreciate differences even though they hypocritically call for tolerance. But once loose, the idea could imperil the central assumptions which allow the institutional school to sustain itself, such as the false assumption that it is difficult to learn to read, or that kids resist learning, and many more. Wow, that is the crux of this whole book. Children as products of this countries economic system ,as robotic machines ,to keep us afloat instead of human beings with a spirit that is already preordained to serve God not man!!! The whole chapter 1 titled, " The seven-lesson schoolteacher. Those seven lessons being taught our children every school year in every public school are the following; The public school teaches confusion, class position, indifference, emotional dependency, intellectual dependency, provisional self-esteem, one cant hide.end quote. Page 13 of this chapter was good as well as pages 17-19. Chapter 2 titled, The Psychopathic school" darn near made me cry it was so dead on! I marked pages 20 -28 broke my heart. I know that I am doing the right thing in homeschooling ! Thanks for confirming it. End quote If you read what Yuba City, Califoria school board recently passed it proves you right. They passed a law saying if a child, a child mind you,is found not in school they will be arrested and the parents fined. THIS IS NOT MY AMERICA AND I WONT PUT UP WITH IT. Page 61 par 2 quote, " Why, then ,are we locking kids up in an involuntary network with strangers for twelve years? end quote. Strangers is good but may I add some are very strange, even criminal. Why indeed? Page 79 Quote, " This catches a peice of whats wrong with compulsory schols as large as New England towns, schools that dont allow any choice of curricula, philosophy, or companions." end quote. Page 91 par 1 in discussing the institition of schools you say quote, " In the most literal sense thy are impossible to reform because they have ceased to be human, having been transformed into abstract structures of superb efficiency, independent of lasting human control survival mechanisms. This is not a devil you can wrestle with as Daniel Webster did with Old Scratch, but one thtat has to be starved to death by depriving it of victims" end quote. I get it! Conclusion:He seems a little strange himself but anyone tainted by the public school system cant come out of its conveyor unscathed in my opionion. GL   Book review of book, THE ADVERSAY, by Mark Bubeck.  This book is to spiritual sickness and darkness what Dr. Jarvik is to heart surgery! I give this book a 5 for its boldness in speaking of spiritual issues with confidence and grace and I will look for this book again in the system and anytime I see it I will choose it just for the refresher course of rereading it for the doctrinal prayers alone.  It starts off a little slow so I would recommend not giving up on it but sticking it out because once it takes off it soars to the moon and back. What a dynamic book about spiritual awakening and is what so many of us are craving in our dry and parched hearts in this day and age. As he says so eloquently this book does not negate seeing a physician for physical ailments and yet it goes into a realm so infrequently acknowledged by modern medicine the realm of the spiritual human being. The spiritual man is also in need of tender care and loving treatment and should we ever forget the value of our salvation and what it has provided us in this world of sometimes evil circumstances we only need to get in touch with our creator and that is done through prayer. This book would be good for anyone who does not appreciate that not all struggles in life are medically treatable and that just once in a while we need to talk to the great physician himself and He alone can fix our hearts when nothing else will. Bravo Mr. Bubeck this book helped me identify the spirit of negativity that has for so long plagued me and my family and to cast it off to appropriate and stand firmly on my God given victory over my own attitudes in life. I choose God and if I see this book again I will choose it too!

Review of Book, " Experiencing the Resurrection" by Henry and Melvin Blackaby 11-17-08. Cool book. I have read many Christian life books but this one is one of my favorites. It put Christs death and resurrection in a new light for me. I see that if I died with Christ , spiritually speaking, then I am also risen with Christ,spiritually speaking, which means as a Christian I am living in a spiritually resurrected state. Since we are born physically and again spiritually when we accept Jesus into our lives as our Lamb of God, born a second time through Jesus. What the book taught me anyway is that  I take to mean that when I die that will actually be my second death ( since I have died with Christ) and when I am resurrected physically that will be my second resurrection! Praise the Lord! Life is good when you put your trust in God. It was an empowering book to read and also very deep and draws you into a quiet place of realization of Gods great power and love and nothing....nothing can seperate us from that love, nothing. For me the whole book was valuable but one line did stand out as I was finishing the book on pages 208 and 209 that says, quote, " Dont limit yourself by your abilities, but allow the resurrected Christ to live through you in power."  And among so many other things this one thing is what Christ is all about, which is, bringing us home!  I liked that it mentions when satan is throwing up the past to us to throw up his future to him. Praise God we do have a glorious end awaiting. I rate this book five stars for its inpirational guidance toward a deeper walk with Christ.   Book Review , " OVERCOMING THE ADVERSARY" by Mark Bubeck. Thank you for writing a book about spiritual distress and providing Biblical tools to overcome these times in our lives. If you are a Christian and dont know what Mark is talking about you need to read this book. If you are a Christian who is a living part of the body of God then you will experience spiritual distress of somekind and this book is valuable in alleviating unnecessary worry about what is happening in your life and helps you to realize you are not alone in this phenomenon. This book encourages you to embrace what is happening with Godly joy and peace because it will work for your good in the end, it always does, just a Biblical fact. If you know of any Christians or non-Christians who are under the influence of satanic forces and under evil oppression reading this book will help you to help them through prayer and scripture reading. After reading this book I was very happy and more confident in my walk with Christ. We should remind each other that satan is not invincible and that God always wins in the end.Choose which team you will play for, I choose Gods.GODS TEAM ALWAYS WINS! EVENTUALLY. Five stars.   Review of book, '90 minutes in heaven" by Don Piper    A pastor I once knew had preached about Don Pipers story and had on several occasions recommended this book to me. I have ever since then wanted to read Don Pipers story. Today while rummaging through some old books at a sale I reached out and picked this book from all the others. I was ecstatic. I went home and began reading it even before the book I had just received in the mail from paperback. The real message in this book for me is the power of prayer! Dons story was so riveting but for me the real miracles of this story are in the answers to prayers. While his recounting the recovery was a good idea for those who have had this kind of horrific experience they did not much for me. I did find it interesting but not overly interesting. I agree with other reviews that in some parts of the book in the middle it is a little dry and boring for the average reader but I expect it is not for someone who has endured similiar pain and suffering.  First thing is I would change the title to possibly just 90 minutes. I would expound on more of the pre-accident conference and what it was about and what state of mind I was in during the conference and on the drive, I would mention the events of the week leading up to the conference, I would tell of my faith and my ministry prior to the accident and after the accident, I would mention the names of others that where touched by the story, and include more post-accident events. I would focus mainly on the answers to prayers. I would remove many pages on the recovery and make a seperate book regarding recovery topics etc for encouragement to those enduring trauma etc. This book helped me to look more forward to the day I leave this world behind me. Prayer....its real....so is heaven. Im glad we have them both. I rate this book a 3 for its story content and outreach. It could have been a 5 if written differently with more emotion and heart tugging sentiment...just the thing most guys hate but woman love.   December 11, 2008 Book review, " Peculiar Treasures" by Fredrick Buechner.  Only one page turned me off it was when the author mentioned Dr. Kinseys report. Dr. Kinsey that I feel is a reprobate mind and criminal, and had no place in a book of this high caliber. After more thought it is the stain that ruins this book really. What is good about this book is that it is humorous and witty, and after thinking about it more,  I have to change my review here some because it is actually what is so indicative of what is happening in our society in regards to how our faith is being deluted down in subtle ways. In very subtle ways, similiar to this books humorous side, satan has crept into our lives, in our marriages, our churches, our communities , our schools, our government, and even our country. It is done so conivingly that we sometimes dont even pick up on it the first time, but what is so good about the time we are in now is that God is waking His people up to this deception and we know that God is invicible, we are not , but He is and satan is now exposed for what he is doing and by calling the elephant in the room we can now diminish its devasting effects on our lives and those around us. I would not recommend this book because it takes the truth of the Bible and , though spattered with humor, deludes the truth by interjecting evil in a sublte way. We can take back was has been infiltrated by satan if we first wake up to it, pray, and stay in Gods word! Here is amended book review: Book review, " Peculiar Treasures" by Fredrick Buechner. I am reading an interesting book titled, " Peculiar Treasures" by Fredrick Buechner. What a funny man and adorable writer. He has written a book about different people of the Bible and in each synopsis he includes wit, humor and truth intertwined with what he would image their life was like back in the days. I laughed and I learned a few things. I learned Im a schlemozzle! Yeppers, that would be me. I learned what a schlemiel is too. In my thinking its better to be a schlemozzle because they are consistently trustworthy whereas a schlemiel I dont think is as trustworthy. Funny thing Im ok with being less than perfect and I am enjoying praying the docrinal prayers I learned recently, so schlemiel away. I especially enjoyed the synopsis on Job, the grand pubah of schlemozzlery. Jobs story was done so well and so gently that it was as if Mr. Buechner knew him personally. While it is a cute book I would not recommend it to anyone really because of its watered down version of spiritual things and its inclusion of some things I deem evil. I hate to throw the baby out with the bathe water but in this case unless the author amends the pages on mentioning of Dr. Kinsey I would have to toss them one out for its potential for harm on non-believers. I give it a 1.75 stars out of 5 for its light heartedness and humor. Regarding Mormonism, it is similiar to this book in my opinion in regards to subtling falling away from what is truth and right and it is my opinion that  unless they adhere more to the Word of God and get rid of their own Bible, follow Gods word more closely and did some real housecleaning within the church it is my opinion that because of the high potential of deceiving others it should be tossed out too. I have faith that the true believers within the Mormon church if they joined together could make these drastic changes and bring about their church to a place where it is doing right vs evil. It first starts with noticing, then prayer, and action toward getting more right with God. I say this because I was once deceived and satan crept into my life, my marriage, my family, my church, my community but with Gods help we can realign our lives to be where God wants us to be when we humble ourselves and seek to follow his precepts more closer than ever before.   My review of article in Newsweek dated 12-15-2008 titled," The religious case for gay marriage" by Lisa Miller.  I always find it rather amusing when those who do not believe in the precepts of the Bible or its divinity and its Holiness turn around and attempt to use it to prove their points which is done, not to well, in my opinion.This article said nothing about the fact that science has redefined homosexuality to not be as genetically linked but is leaning toward mulitfactors including a dominent environmental causation. This article says nothing about the twin studies, the rise in aids and sociopathology regarding destructive behaviours among  the youth age groups, who are for many reasons having increasing numbers who are practicing homosexuality, it neglects to comment on the increasing number of web sites declaring freedom from homosexuality and SSA's. All that aside it does nothing new for the furthering of H.M ( Homosexual Marriage) in my opinion.  Starts off on page 28 pretty much bashing the Jewish leaders and founding fathers for their lack of morality within marriage. And gives a less than perfect view of the marrige bed in Old Testement and New Testement and then asks the reader to legitimize what is so great about marriage based on these Biblical people. And then quotes scripture such as, " It is better to marry than to burn with passion", a quotation of the Apostle Paul whom they are quick to point out was single. So in one hand they will put marriage down using the Bible and then use the Bible to justify the necessity for H.M. All of which makes little sense to me. In paragraph 3 of page 28 it paints the supporters and opposers of H.M. as in a battle to define marriage and then says it has esculated to a full blown war, and likens this war to the civil war for emanicpation of the slavery, however it does not back that up with facts such as practicing homosexuals are bound to serve masters without pay, and are beaten when they do not work or have a low production, I have not seen one homosexual not permitted to vote or sit anywhere they choose on a bus and no signs that we are segregating hetero drinking water from homosexual water fountains and you know the whole salvery scene I just dont see it in the homosexual community They do announce that the H.M. opponents are using primarily scripture as the foundation for their  objections. But then go on to say that the Bible gives no good reason to oppose H.M. Again I disagree with these two statements also having seen much of the oppositions commercials, flyers, and emails where scripture was rarely used but I saw alot of case studies regarding what has happened to states, families, school curriculum, homosexual activism in states that have legalized H.M and lastly the Bible does give very many good reasons to not accept H.M.. It goes on to attempt to divide marriage into two pieces that need to be put back together and those peices being a civil and a religious marriage. I dont think that they were ever the same two for the price of one deal at all. I have always seen that their have been civil unions for those people who live together without choosing to be married and  traditional marriage as preserved , as special, as Holy, and not a civil union at all. The opponents of H.M. are not against civil unions, they are not against homosexuality as a lifestyle choice they are against this new wave of anarchists trampleing over what they hold as uniquely Holy, and is not to be taken lightly in their minds and hearts. They do not want the reprocusions that will spill over from allowing Holy Matrimony to be watered down, they want to preserve this for the next generation of families in America and I personally dont see anything wrong with there desires and this article did nothing new to convince me that it would benefit our society, our families, our communities or our churches but rather supported the opponents arguments.  Page 30 after doing its best to tear down any possible legitimacy to the Bible as a relevent source for not supporting H.M. they launch into what they feel the bottom line must be, it is not spoken but you can almost hear them say...homophobia. They go to say the sex between men seems to be the real stickler with the opponents against H.M. Again I dont think most American adults care much what goes on in others peoples bedrooms and it does not hold water to say that is why they are against H.M. because what I get from the opposition to H.M is not that they should stop having sex but that same-sex marriage diminish that which is held sacred, in this case, marriage. They go on to pull down the Apostle Paul for setting a standard for marriage, ie not divorcing once married and acentuate that he was a single man that promoted singlehood, if possible. They also throw up King David with implications that he was bi-sexual having a sex relationship with Jonathon, no one knows this because it was never stated and relationships between men can be close as brothers even in Bible times. I dont know if David did anything with Jonathon that was sexual and I would not attempt to use David as a basis for God accepting homosexuality ,when in fact it is not a proven point, as this article so blatantly does.  It goes on to attempt again to liken slavery to homosexuality and can only assume that they believe every household should have one, my only problem with this is that the Christian community continues to try to allow some kind of option of freedom if chosen to allow them to be set free from the bonds of homosexuality while it appears as long as it suits the homosexual cause they continue to bound them up as slaves to homosexuality, with no hope of freedom. All I can say is Martin L. King would roll over in his grave to see the chains the homosexual community are applying to their own people! They then go on to blame the Afican American population for Prop. 8 passing, I guess they are done blaming the Mormons and Christians, I wonder who they will blame next?  The article gets more and more ridiculous as it goes on quote, " Most of us no longer heed Leviticus on haircuts or blood sacrifices. Why would we still accept its stance on homosexuality? end quote from page 31. What they forget to tell the readers about the immorality of the Biblical times, which I say people are no different today than back then, though article attempts to say that it is no longer relevent due to changing times and attitudes, what they forget is the flood of Noahs time, the destruction of Sodom and Gommorah in Lots time for immorality of God very own people, how much more will He do to those who are not His people, we can only imagine. God is a God of love but they forget that He is a jealous and righteous God that cannot condon sin in anyone, that is why we have Jesus, the sinless lamb of God.   Summary to the article is that it had a lot of smoke but no fire, it had the same old we wont this and your a bully for not giving it to us feel and it did not do what it set out to do in my opinion to make the reader sympathize with them as slaves in America, nor did it paint them as victims when we all know they are the instigators of this battle they are calling a war and we have all witnessed their lack of tolerance for anyone who does not hold to their lifestyle choice.  It was an ok article but the facts to back up their claims for me just did not exist.No one hates those who choose to live a life that is different, people only resist when they are being taken advantage of and disrespected which opposition is currently exeriencing. Just my thoughts on this article.   Review of book, HEART OF JOY, by Mother Teresa.6-22-09  If you feel like you dont contribute much to society due to poverty, or handicap, or some draw back this book is for you. If you dont understand why life can be so hard you need to read this book. If you are alone, rejected, despised this book is for you. Mother Teresa explains humanities needs and how to met them like it was pouring a glass of water, simple, easy and refreshing. She explains how the Missionaries of Charity, the group of co-workers she organized, help met the needs of the poor and dying around the world. I guarantee when you get done reading this book you will have more respect for the poor and needy in your communities. It helped me in regards to the need to give more and know that when I do I am giving it to Christ himself, what an honor, and blessing rolled up in one. Points I really liked about this book are many but I will sum it up with a few lessons from Mother Teresa,quote from page 45. Quote: May we never forget that in the service to the poor we are offered a magnificent opportunity to do something beautiful for God. End quote And in conclusion this quote, which touched me so deeply, I dont think I will ever be the same again: I give this book a 5 and recommend it when you need a pick me up and it can be read in a few hours.

December 27, 2008 Book review of, " YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES; what every father need to know" by John Eldredge.  Inspirational! I rarely give a five out of five, but this is a Seven! I am going to give it to my son but decided to read it first and being a parent, I cried like a baby. Only 52 reading pages which men will love about it and I think soooo much more.   Its not just for fathers but man its a great book, and men need to know they matter and this book paints that picture perfectly! Men matter alot to their wives and their children and they should hear that, often. Its a good book for wives/mothers too because its insight into how a man thinks and what he needs to have in order to feel like a masculine husband/father/son and that little child in all of us never grows up, no matter who you are! I dont know if I want to part with this book or not. I might have to send more Christmas gifts and this book will be at the top of my list, right next to: " Overcoming the Adversary by Bubeck and The Homosexual Agenda by Sears and Osten and The Marketing of Evil by Kuplian!  I hear this author has another book called, Wild at heart;discovering the secret of a mans soul and I bet its just as good if not better, if that is possible. GL   Decemeber 28, 2008 Review of, " Character under Attack and what  you can do about it" by Carl Sommer. I cant see a fix for the public school systems no matter what they might do to remedy their bottomless pit of problems. Pages 26-27 I had heard of Nietzsche but was unaware of exactly what his philosophy is, in context of it being taught to children in public schools I was very dismayed; Quote, " This hedonistic, self-created value system proclaiming that all values are arbitrary has brought havoc to our world " and " , Conscience is a Jewish invention. Like circumcision , it mutilates the body." end quote Page 28 might well sum up this book, "To educate a person in the mind but not in morals is to educate a menace to society." Teddy Roosevelt. Page 29 Sad,Page 30,Page 31 No way, where are the parents! Page 49 A hero! Page 60-61 " John Leo in US NEWS & WORLD REPORT states, 73% when their professors taught about ethical issues, the usual message was that uniform standards of right and wrong dont exist." Quote from page 60 par. 2, " Overdosing on nonjudgementalism is a growing problem in the schools" on this I could not agree more! Pages 65-67 More proof that our Founding Fathers did not intend for such a radical throwing out of Christian morals from our school systems based upon the Constitutions first amendment . Page 68 quote: " CONCERNED CITIZENS CANNOT STAND IDLY BY AND WATCH THE SYSTEMATIC DESTRUCTION OF AMERICAN YOUTH BECOME TOTALLY DEMORALIZED TO THE POINT OF ACCEPTING PERVERTED SEX AND DEGENERATE BEHAVIOUR THAT CURRENT NONJUDGEMENTAL PROGRAMS ARE PROPOGATING. DOES AMERICA HAVE AN ESTABLISHED VALUE SYSTEM? ABSOLUTELY! AMERICANS NEED TO RISE UP AND PROMOTE VIRTUES THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE BELIEFS ARE NATION WAS FOUNDED UPON AND THAT MADE OUR NATION GREAT. THESE VIRTUES HAVE A PROVEN TRACK RECORD." End quote. Excellent! Standing ovation! Page 74 If more people held to this concern. Pages 75 & 76 Offer potential solutions to help get the school train back on track. Page 81 & 82 PTL! Page 83 A must read. As long as the administrators and leaders feel helpless the kids dont have a chance. Speak out boldly! Page 84 We must let our voices be heard above the secular clamour!    This book was like a moutain cave with new caverns at every turn. Interesting the whole way through, lots of valuable information and resources.Just when I thought this book had told its story I would find new information and it would take me into a different direction all coming to one big conclusion. That conclusion being, for me, that I cant see a fix for the public school systems no matter what they might do to remedy their bottomless pit of problems.   I liked the fact that the book was concise, only 95 pages long and small in actual size and that made it fun to hold and read. I would not change a thing and I am somewhat stingy with my point system or else I would give  you a five. Maybe because I didnt jump up and go  YAHHOOOOO, but I did a little dance...thats worth 4 points. GL   Review of Book, "Why Does God Permit Evil" by Dom Bruno Webb" by GL   My son asked me why evil things happen? How could a loving God allow this? Here is my answer. Then I will tell you that seems to say that the problem goes back to Adam and Eve and " The Original Sin"  as the book states .While I agree completely I however disagree with some small points of this book. One eye opener was that I had always thought that the original sin was Adam/Eves, wrong this book so wonderfully illuminates that the first sin, the original sin, is an angelic sin. Wow.  I rate this book a 4.9 our of 5. I am not Catholic but man do these Catholic have some really good ideas, some I disagree with, but some are so good you cant possibly say they are all bad. I hope that redeems me somewhat, earns me a point or two from Peter.  The book started off really slow for me and even though I knew it was building the foundation of the rest of the book the thing I would change would be to make the first half a little more intriguing and less dry. It is quite lofty at the beginning and intermittently, more in the beginning, and lost my attention at times and I thought at one time I might not be able to finish it. I am so glad I kept reading because it transformed into a butterfly around page 39 for me. So I start my review on page 39. Page 39, 3rd par. Information regarding negation vs privation. Very interesting to me, deep concept when you relate it to pain,suffering and evil. Just as I thought I might understand it would fly away but come back again as I read on. Page 40, 1st par. This is the finishing up of the page before. And the last sentence on this page, Quote," Animal death as such is a limitation, a negation of further life,but not a physical evil, since it is not the deprivation of any perfection that is demanded by animal nature. End quote. Page 42, par 2 Quote, " One cannot escape the dictum of St. Augustine;" All evil is either sin or the penalty of sin". End Quote.When you put it in light of angelic sin then I would agree, but prior to learning about angelic sin I would have said, no, and quoted Job. Having now understood angelic sin then St. Augustine is correct because we know Job, was a good man, but satan was given power over him and satan is angelic sin personified. Further in par., Quote,"But since suffering is not itself sin it must ultimately be the effect of sin. .....that is the effect ultimately of angelic sin. End quote. Bravo! Page 45, 2nd par....mid par..Quote,"for man stands midway between the angelic hierarchy of pure spirits and the material universe. End quote. Further down in par. Quote, "....a body so... End quote, goes on to explain how that hierarchy is changed once we have accepted Christ into our lives, or become a part of the body of Christ. Interesting, it was said a little lofty, above me, but non-the-less profound and I get the meaning. Page 46,par 1. Quote, " St. Gregory realized very quickly the analogy between the embryo and the universe as a whole. End quote. It goes on to further elaborate this idea and does so very well. Page 47, par1 Quote, "....except in the case of miracles God works through created things as His instruments." End quote. Page 48-49 On angelic sin being responsible for disorder in the world was interesting. It was apparently not Gods initial plan that angels would do so but used the disorder caused by such fallen angels to further his plan into a higher calling, a better plan, than the original. He so rocks! Not wanting to give the whole book away, which I'm good at doing. I will mark pages here that had significant meaning to me. Pages50-53 Pages 57-61 Pages 64-69. The last par. on page 69 that starts out...quote, "WITHOUT THE FALL"...I underlined this whole par. Excellent! Pages 70-71 Pages 79-81 Pages 86 & 87, 89 Pages 94-108 & 109 had intermittent underlining, but on page 108 loved the whole last par quote, " Those who labor under...." end quote. Pages 114, 117-120 Page 131 last line and 132-136 Page 141 & 144 and 147-149 and 151-153 Ending with Yes, come Lord Jesus!  Conclusion: Here is one of those things I had never considered before that this book brings up that really does make since...well to me anyway. You know that us Christians say that suffering, pain, death, sorrow etc are all a result of the first sin by Adam/Eve and that our perfection was tainted from that point on when the cell of sin was interjected into the perfect system and therefore we are ALL born sinners, no matter who you are, we are all with the same sinful nature. But how did satan get in the garden since Adam/Eve had not sinned yet so what caused satan sin? This is a new question for me that I had never even thought about until this book really enlightened me. What an amazing revelation.  We believe that the Bible is correct that sata is a fallen angel. So God created angels first, then people afterward at some point and time. It appears angels have been given free will as well as us. Satan is an angel, and not just any angel but he was one of the very top angels in heaven that went bad, so to speak, taking other angels with him he was cast out of heaven and apparently was able to get into the garden. What I'm getting at from this book which is divinely inspired in my opinion ,is sin now exists because of angelic sin as well as the original sin in Adam/Eve, which I had never really considered before reading this book. Apparently there are intrinsic differences, yet both devasting, and qualities of sin in man and sin in angels and therefore the consequences manifest themselves differently. It is my uneducated opinion that mankind keeps playing out the garden scenario, mans sin through Adam as the victim and Angelic sin through satan as the predator.  You cant say the devil made me do it about any sin angelic or otherwise, because of FREE WILL according to the book, not in those exact words. ( UNLESS ITS ANGELIC SIN VIA HYPNOSIS AND THEY MANIPULATE FREE WILL!)Through that free will choice evil entered this perfect system and that is why we find evil in this world. Good news, we have choice, but even still darkness/sin cannot save itself. Are we forever imperfect, forever fallen out of grace? I don't think so..and neither does this book! I also believe in spiritual laws much like physical laws are provable and testable and actual. The law of gravity is one ...if you throw a ball into the air because of law of gravity it comes back to earth...sin and consequence is a spiritual law ( the book ref's to it as Adams sin and Angelic sin) say that if you choose to sin there are adverse consequences....that is one..and one consequence besides suffering, pain is death , which to me means spiritual death, because there is another death that is physical that is something different I believe related to the original human kinds transference of sin. In other words everytime we sin on earth we dont immediately die, obviously, however, because of the orginal spiritual sin by Adam and Eve the consequences being seperaton from God, which is ultimately the reason for our physcial death, eventually.Spiritual death is even worse in some ways than physical death, physical death being what we know is cessation of life here on earth from transference of human sin from Adam and Eve, in my opinion is not what is referred to in scripture as the sin that leads to death, that being angelic sin, both spiritual and physical death simultaneously. ( meaning angelic sins death which is the end all) I think anyway. I base that on the fact that spiritual death is the result of seperation from God and since God is spirit and not flesh it would be right to say that seperation from Him is spiritual death. Physical death is the consequence of spiritual death and I base that on the scripture that says that death is the consequence of sin, sin being spiritual sin and spirtual death. However when they occur together it is my belief and I have waivered on this, that sinning against the Holy Spirit or blashemy, is the unpardonable sin. While I dont know if Jesus will redeem such a lost soul, we can hope that he will. Spirutal death can be overcome by Jesus, and physical death as well. He is the only name that is given to overcome the sin of the world. Amen. I dont know if Im right here, Im just basing my thoughts on my feelings about this book and scripture and knowing that you can be saved from spiritual death only by Jesus Christ himself.  What I also liked is that its message rings true in stating that it's the crux of Christianity that in order to reinstate that relationship with God, and revive that perfect state of being the book says that you must do two things know God exists and desire salvation through sanctification. Churches differ on how that is achieved but all agree that it starts with that persons implicit faith and implicit desire. Although the book is based more on Catholicism I only disagreed in terminology for what means one thing to a Catholic might have a different word but mean the same thing to a Protestants. For instance, Protestants say," we must be born-again spiritually", again something we cant do on our own but is a gift from God and Catholic appear to put more emphasis on the sacrament of Baptism. I cannot argue the latter anymore than the former, I agree with them both. This will not make me many friends in either group unfortunately. Bummer. How to avoid the consequences of sin. JESUS , JESUS , JESUS. Heres my advice from a mother whose been there and back.     Book review of , " THE MORMON MURDERS" 1-15-09 This book is scarey. I have always known that this relgion was based on a false prophet and therefore a false religion but I had no idea at how correct I was. The only way to save those who have innocently joined this church is to completely throw out its founding father history and just go strickly by the Holy Bible. If you are considering joining this cult please read this book first. Not all protestant churches are based on such lies, deceit and murder. The true story of the bombings is sad enough but thrown into this book is so much of its history that is undeniably evil, definetely not of Gods Holy Spirit! I give the book 5 stars for its honesty and for those who lost their lives serving God through this false religion. A photo in the book says it best, shows a picture of Salt Lake City and calls it little Beirut. I would add read, STOLEN INNOCENCE, by a former FLDS member. Unbelievable!   The Road from Home by David Kheridian  The story of an Armenian family who endured the inhumane treatment by the Turkish army over and over again. Refugees from their homes repeatedly as the government and relations between the between the Greeks and Turks broke down. I give this book a 5 for the courage of the Armenian people and one particular family as mentioned in this book. I quote some pages that will give you an idea of the pain and torment the Armenians suffered and of wars brutallity on all sides. A book about how this proud and humble race struggled to retain their heritage and eventally prevailed against their destruction as they were masacred and driven from Turkey to Syria to Greece and some even to America. Page 196 quote, "All at once a throng of men, woman and children broke through the blockade. Thier bundles and parcels on fire, they struggled to get free.Some of them where able to throw themselves into the sea, while others just died on their feet,remained upright, supported by the crowd."Turn your eyes away, Veron.Its a nightmare!"But there was nowhere to turn. A raft, crowded with refugees,was attempting to push off from the shore, when two Turkish soliders poured kerosene over them, and the next thing I knew their raft was a blazing torch." Were burning, Were burning", was all I could hear them say as I turned my eyes away. By night the entire city was ablaze. We were packed, nearly half a million human beings, in an area a mile and a half long and no more than one hundred feet wide.END QUOTE This book is a book written to remind the Armenians that life triumphs over death and evil loses in the end. It is a book of Armenian victory not a book of shame. It is a book that should be read by all young adults to remind them what hate can do and hopefully cause this generation of young adults to find better ways of resolving differences. A book to document those Armenian souls lost in senseless perishing, they are gone forever, but thanks to this family and this book their memories will not be forgotten.     Book review of UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN, A story of violent faith by Jon Krakauer on April 16,2009 This book is about the violent history of Mormonism but it should be titled UNDER THE BANNER OF STUPIDITY because anyone who believes that this man had a revelation from heaven and had gold tablets given to him and then disappeared has fewer marbles than any human being I know. With all due respect for those who love God and his only son Jesus...WHAT ARE YOU THINKING TO BELIEVE MORMONISM! Unbelievable! Youve got to read this book for the sheer shocking truth behind this pseudo-religion. What a crock! If you are not religious then I assume the virgin birth seem a bit outlandish but really you dont have an idea what outlandish is until you read what Joseph Smith pulled over the eyes of, forgive me, really stupid people! And for every man who has practiced Mormonism and plurality of wives and told these young teenage girls that God said they must marry them or be banished to hell, has in my opinion, just sealed their own hellish fate! Well I thought Id read just about everything but this true story, while well written and I commend the author, this religion takes the audacious and brutal cake of a bizarre faith and twists it around and trys to force us to eat it! I give it a 3 for originality and a 10 for brazen hypocracy and evilness personified.   WHERE IS GOD WHEN IT HURTS, by Philip Yancey.  It is a 4.9 out of 5. This book does a very good job at building ones faith in God while attempting to alleviate psychological pain associated with the confusion of why God allows those He loves to suffer and die. He defines the structures set in place by God for sensation and the nervous system and it is mind boggling to read about the intricacies and wonderment of Gods human design for touch and sensation. While explaining the marvelous system by which we are given pain he leads you to understand that without this system our bodies would be unfeeling and shows us what they would look like also should we be free of the nervous system. This is not a new approach but it bears much repeating so that we all better understand that not all pain is bad nor useless.When he is done with his explanation of why pain is important you have a better appreciation for pain altogether.  He tells stories of real people who have and are enduring unbelievable suffering and pain but physical and psychological and through their experiences the reader is brought new levels of humanity that ties us together as human beings that need one another. The conclusion in part 3 titled, HOW CAN WE COPE WITH PAIN, is the apex of the book and I think he does a very good job at helping anyone who is suffering to feel less anxiety associated with the gnawing questions such as the whys, the hows, the what now's, they might be facing and yet does not fully take away the lea way to get in ones own touch with their personal conflicts and rationales. Page 86 Par. 3 Pain turned you to God Page 92 Par. 2 Absolute evil does exist Pages that wrapped book up for conclusions for me are : Pages 161,162, 169 and lastly pages 182 & 183   3-6-09 I just finished the book titled Medjugoreje by Wayne Weible and this is my uptake on it. I give the book 3 points. I think I would have been a little less subjective and a little more on the investigative side and put my interviews in an order that came first and that was not so subjective. God bless Wayne but if he had written putting his emotions and personal story at the end and not first it would have lent more authenticity and less biasedness. The pros of this book for me are that after reading the book I think that the visions by the children of the village on the mountain were most likely true and I think that it was meant to strengthen them and draw them toward God and good works not to show off ones spirituality by recreating the events in the sanctuary and in the choir room and cause others to desire such manifestations.The children are not somehow any more special than you or I and yet their honesty in retelling their story calls out to us that we not fall away from our first love, our love for God. I find some fault in the fact that the children where asked to continue to call on Mary in prayer in public and asked to meet at the church to continue to appear so as to cause the appartition to reappear daily within the church and choir room, and mind you this was something that the children witnessed themselves while in deep prayer, and that for me was sacred and for them only and it is my opinion that is should not have carried on for so long. What I am startled by is not that these children witnessed such a miracle I am startled by the fact that so many think its special. If you serve God with your whole heart, mind, soul and strength God will do Glorious things in your life. Maybe and hopefully not this dramatic but even greater things and you dont need to see, hopefully, an appartition inorder to make God the center of your life. I am happy these children had that experience for God does say that the kingdom of God is of such as them. May this draw us to serve God with the same child like faith that these children have and despite not seeing such unusual sites still believe in Jesus for our salvation. My objections with the book are that after the aparitions on Mt. Krizevac where not only the group of 6 children witnessed the Mary appartition but the entire village as I understand it as well and that in my opinion is where it should have remained and isolated wonderful outdoor mountainside experience. I believe it should have stopped at that point. Inviting the children to continue to meet in prayer meetings was very wrong in my opinion. Every Christian should have a prayer life as full as the ones the visionaries have and while in prayer should feel and know the presence of God Himself and His saints. So I think they went a tad overboard when they began to focus on daily having the visionaries speak to Mary in prayer for to me we all should be praying and not highlight these childrens experience beyond telling of the mountain side visions. Just my thoughts and feelings on this matter. Mary appearing to them on the mount is a true miracle but everything preceding that is merely a strong faith and strong prayer life which we all can and should have and the visionaries are not special in that aspect. They are however blessed to have Mary appear on the mount to them and speak to them there. I know some might say that is upsurd but angels spoke to shepards on a hillside, God spoke in a burning bush, and not all visions are physical manifestations they are spiritual manifestations. I do not think that we should ask for such things to happen to us but I will not take away from what God did for these children on the mountain and for what God is doing to strengthen others to believe in Gods love and mercy. I am glad it was children and not adults and I am glad they were of differing ages as well for that leads to more credibility. Whats so funny is my family said to me upon realizing I was reading this book that is was crazy to believe little kids about such a thing and said that if they were teenagers it would be more credible. I then read the story and couldnt wait to tell them the children were in fact mostly teenagers. So I do believe the children and their visions of Mary but beyond that it is pushing toward forcing these children to continue to bring about some kind of manifestation and that is wrong. I do believe it happened and I do believe the children are blessed as is the town and the mountain and the village and for that reason I would like to go there myself. I do not pursue such manifestations but I know that a sincere and faithful prayer life can be just as Holy and Blessed as these childrens experiences. I say God Bless them and the town and all who go there to seek the Holy Spirit and His guidance. I would like to go to Medjugoreje, Yugoslovia and walk that beautiful Mt. Krizevac and attend mass at St. James church but not before I should go to the Holy Land of Isreal and walk the same roads that Jesus walked and go to the garden of Gethsemane and swim in the Jordan River for He alone is my Saviour. I say honor Mary as the mother of Jesus and ask her for help in your prayers but never put her before Jesus and God.Amen   May 10,2009 Tragedy to Triumph by Reuel Nygaard A man who has it all, a lovely family, a successful business, active faith and social life suddenly loses everything and his life comes to a complete halt. Death is painful in all of its pitiful glory but when its by suicide its compounded sorrow is too much to bear for any of us. You are taken through his intimate thoughts and as you walk through this shadow of death the real picture comes into focus and that is no matter what we face in life, life is hard and unfair, that it would be utterly unbearable with God. This book is a miracle of how one can lose your most cherished loved one through suicide and survive it, and conquer its devastation. Its a book of how a family, particularly a man, endured the most painful situation a parent can face and how hope was sucked from his life and returned gradually until he could once again feel the sun on his face and experience the beauty of life around. I give the book a 5 because it deserves it. I would share this book with anyone who has lost someone they love but particularly if the loved ones death was by suicide. A very good book.   Review of essay 6-9-09 Its actually an essay by a very intelligent man by the name of Henry David Thoreau, that was before all men with first names for middle names became some how branded criminal types, he is a marvelous writter and I recommend his essay titled,CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE.It's fabulous. You could say it relates quite well to the culture war we are having over the protection of traditional marriage and very easily slip in traditional marriage where he mentions slavery quite well.I hope America will get in touch with the divine in her in regards to protecting that which is divine more than the diabolic in her and protect traditional marriage. Page 5 Is awesome! Do something it cries out! Quote; They will wait,well disposed, for others to remedy the evil,that they may no longer have it to regret.At most they give only a cheap vote,and a feeble countance and God-speed,to the right,as it goes by them.There are nine hundred and ninety-nine patrons of virtue to one virtuous man;but it is easier to deal with the real possessor of a thing than with the temporary guardian of it. END QUOTE I give this essay a 4.5.   Review of book, CONDUCT UNBECOMING by Shilts on 6-22-09 by GL    I will not put this book back into the system, first its as big as a car, and weighs as much, but because of its content. It proves why our men where asleep at the switch on Sept. 11 and this book implies what they were probably doing instead of protecting America, instead of doing their jobs, they were doing jobs. To put it mildly and discretly.Live whatever life you want just dont push it, talk about it, act it out, or brag about it while working for this country, is my marine mother voice. Francisco doesnt have aids by now and if hes still alive I would tell him if he was my son Id buy a box of tissues and cry my heart out for what he has done with his life. For the title, excellent, I give this book a minus 4, it would have been a -5 but I liked the title. From a mother of a marine...booyahhh I just found a good use for this book;a footstool.   Double Deal by Michael Corbitt and Sam Giancana reviewed by GL 7-26-09   This is definetely a mans book. We all know this is what is going on in America and how sad that good men are succumbing to this corruption. The good life is hard but if good men join forces with black hearted souless men so they can have an easy life who will protect us woman and children from them? How many lives have been ruined by the kind of men Mr. Corbitt writes about? Is America a better place because of them? No way! As a woman I was turned off by the language used in this book and the violence but more than anything I am sad because if this is what boys have to look up to these days as role models then not only are all the men doomed but what hope do us woman and children have against such darkness? Only the Spirit of Gd can stop such a group. I gave the book a 4 because it is a true story, although some information seems a little far fetched in that if the CIA is involved with the mob and take monies from them then forget about families and woman/children our whole country is screwed if we let this continue. Anyone person who has the moxy to stand up to corruption and tell the truth gets a high score in my book. If only more people had this kind of moxy and stood up to the mob aka organized crime and joined together and did what this man did by coming forward and exposing this criminal underground think how much nicer and safer our communities, families would be. When a boy has only this kind of existence to look forward to how empty is that life, not just for him but all of us? Very empty indeed.   The Shack One of the worse books Ive ever read. I put it up there with the movie clockwork orange as just plain wrong. Here is my review of the book I read a year ago and based on my memory of it here is my review:  Any self respecting Californian will not pick up a hitch hiker, its just common sense, and any self respecting Christian will not endorse this book. Why? If you look on the back of this book the endorsements come from Hollywood types and not one reputable Christian organization supported this book. My thoughts are that it is because it endorses gender confusion and that is a very dangerous mental condition. If you read this book and think for one minute that the message is a positive one you are under a mental fog becuase while it does have an tragic mystery plot which does peek an interest it uses that to interject sexual gender crossing roles in which Gd and Jesus are protrayed as a woman and black if I remember correctly. I would use this book for fire wood starter materials only. And feel if you do endorse this book that you probably arent a real beleiver in Gd and His only son Jesus Christ or either just one that is not learned enough in the scripture to know that Gd is a male and His only son is also and that while Gd does not appear to have an ethnicity He is most assuredly a FATHER which makes Him, MALE, and Jesus is not black he was Jewish. So it very subtley trys to twist your thinking....VERY DANGEROUS BOOK unless you like sexual bondage and torture or you like cross dressing or just like a tragic tale woven in sheer magicians smoke. I give it a minus 2. Minus one point for twisting the gender of Gd and Jesus and one for trying to make gender bending an ok thing while selling it as a Christian book. Check out who endorses a book it tells alot about it!   9-25-09 PREPARE FOR WAR by Rebecca Brown MD.    This book is a sequel to the much talked about book, HE CAME TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE, by physician Rebecca Brown. Some would call her a extreme right wing religious fanatic others downright crazy but those who have encountered the rituals and practices of satanists and those who have experienced demonic and satanic activity within the witchcraft or satanic underground would beg to differ with those evaluations.  Many more people than you would think have dabbled and even practiced witchcraft and even lesser evils, be it for pleasure or for serious worship and have found this underworld to be wicked and criminal in more ways than one and have little resource as to how to get out of such a mind-controling anti-religious group/groups and Dr. Brown attempts to show people what that world does to innocent victims and how it operates and how unknowing youth are falling into its spiritual warfare and are finding it to be a battle they dont know how to win or even begin to fight against. Dr. Brown shows those individuals that they can leave satan worship and they can only do that by the blood of Jesus and the grace of Gd. She effectively educates the reader on how to avoid these pitfalls and how to pull oneself out of the mire of them and back onto solid and peaceful ground once again. I give this book at 3.5 for her sincerity and conviction to help those caught in the pits of hell on earth.  Some will laugh at her efforts, some will scoff at her remarks, but I guarantee you that anyone who has experienced even one of the portals to hell that she exposes will not only understand her but appreciate her willingness to endure ridicule inorder to SET THE CAPTIVES FREE and do that by teaching them to PREPARE FOR WAR. Gd bless you. Dont dwell on mistakes, go forward and keep trying to help those trapped in the underworld that so few know about. While it is true that they are incorrect in some of their doctrine, which religion isnt?, they are not totally wrong and they are very sincere. They stick to a very close interpretation of the Bible and unlike the Mormon religion which I feel she could have exposed more because they do not have their own Bibles ( apparently they do have a version of their own as well), they do not have sexually charged secret rituals, that I am aware of, and they do not believe in plural marriages or spirit marriages or spirit babies to my knowledge, nor that satan is the brother of Jesus which are only a few things wrong with the Mormon religion. They just look at things differently and much of what they teach is correct and while I do agree with writer on some areas regarding focus on the Pope or Mary is excessive I dont feel praying to saints is praying to dead people, its weird and we should only pray to Gd/Jesus but if someone asked Mary for help with something or another saint I dont feel its a mortal sin, need I remind you they are not dead and if you want to be literal Jesus is dead in body( meaning he also died, but unlike others until the rapture he rose from the dead giving us the crux of our faith. He is alive and sitting on the right hand of Gd though he does not have a human form but a spiritual incorruptable form, having beat satans rap of curse and death.Saints in my opinion are alive in spirit and are not dead in that sense thanks to Jesus.)  Since the writer has endured much in her life, for her it is understandable to be worried and concerned that they are opening doors to hell, but for many others its too harsh.This book is a book on educating Christians on what we can do to educate ourselves and be smarter about secular ways and protect our selves by the blood of Jesus!
